A 73 year old woman treated at the Precision Hair Restoration Practice Group, receiving 3,510 grafts in a single session. The photographs below were taken before surgery and again at nine months post-op, documented across 1 standardized views under matched lighting and head positioning. Patients travel to us from Nassau County, Suffolk County and the wider tri-state area; every candidate is assessed individually, because the right technique and graft count depend on donor supply, the pattern of loss, and what that person wants to achieve.

Every documented view
Hair restoration is judged from more than one viewpoint. Each pair below shows the same patient photographed from a consistent position before surgery and again at follow-up.

What this case involved
FUT (strip) harvests this patient’s own follicular units from the donor region and transplants them into the areas of thinning and loss. Graft count is planned around available donor supply and the size of the area being treated; this patient received 3,510. Transplanted hair grows in gradually over the months that follow, which is why these photographs were taken at nine months post-op rather than immediately after surgery.
Results differ from person to person and are not guaranteed. The only way to know which approach suits your pattern of loss is an in-person evaluation, where we will talk through every option — including whether surgery is the right step for you at all.
